Whipping up easy desserts is always a highlight of my day. Desserts are my family’s most favorite things in the world, and seeing them happy when they see a sugary concoction in front of them is my version of a favorite thing. Family always comes first to us mothers, which is why we do our best to provide them with the things they love. Most of the time, this involves food and most especially desserts.
My sons have been a bit busy lately. One of their uncles (one of my husband’s brothers) often visits nowadays because he goes to a college nearby. He often asks to take the kids out for cake or for pizza, and I always allow them.
Since I have a bit of a free time whenever they’re out, I make sure they have something to eat whenever they come home. Usually, I whip up a simple dessert in which the ingredients I can simply find in the cupboard. Most of the time, these are cake mixes.
Last time, I made this simple cake that just tastes so heavenly it feels as if you’re eating it in the clouds. When my sons and my brother-in-law arrived, I served them the cake. My brother-in-law loved it so much that I decided to wrap the rest up for him to bring to his dorm.
