I am in awe at how this truly unique recipe turned out and you will be, too.
So, the other day, I had a pot of freshly boiled elbow macaroni sitting on the countertop next to a bowl of shredded cabbage. I was making goulash and had the tomato and beef mixture all ready to go on the stove. So, I grabbed the noodles, or so I thought and dumped it in the beef mixture pot. However, I dumped int he shredded cabbage instead! How could I have ever made such a silly mistake? I’ll tell you how. I was distracted my crazy dog nosing through the trash can yet again.
I stirred the cabbage into the sauce and gave it a taste and realized it was far better than I ever could have imagined. I left the noodles out and served coleslaw goulash to the family and they loved it!
