Chase Your Cares Away With Rainbow Sprinkle Sugar Cookies

Growing up, did you ever eat raw cake batter?

Yeah, so did I. Nowadays, it is commonly said not to consume the raw batter because of the raw eggs in it and other things that can make you sick.  I don’t know what you think about it, but I always did it and so did my mom and grandma and no one got sick over a lick off a spatula.  On the contrary, it felt sneaky and absolutely delicious.  We lived for the day my grandma would make a cake and leave us the bowl and spatula and whoever got there first got to enjoy it and decide whether or not they wanted to share.

In time, we grew up and decided we would make our own cake batter just so we can eat the leftovers.  I mean, we even once made a batch of cookie dough, not to bake, but to eat just like that while watching a movie with popcorn.  Some may find it disgusting sure, but it was such a delicious treat at 1am to enjoy while watching Christmas movies.

Anyway, these cookies here are not raw, but they have the taste of raw cake batter.  So if you are looking to protect yourself from the potential of getting sick off of cake batter, consider using this recipe.  You won’t get sick nor will you miss out on the flavor.  It’s a win-win if you ask me!
