A Cake Recipe So Good It’ll Sweep You Off Your Feet
Whenever I can, I go for a jog as early as 4 am. I come back home at around 6 and my lovely neighbor Maisie will be watering her plants in her backyard. She is such a wonderful lady. At the age of 70, she’s still very active, lively and full of laughter. Her posture, my goodness, is truly perfect! Whenever I pass by her, Maisie will usually ask me to have lemonade with her or even breakfast sometimes. And of course I never say no!
A few weeks ago, Maisie called me and invited me over for cake. And it wasn’t just any cake, believe me! She knows how much I love cannolis so she had made this incredible cannoli cake. I had two big, fat slices and I didn’t even feel guilty about it! The cake was so delicious that I was willing to gain a few more pounds.
Later on I had to search for a cannoli cake recipe so that I could make it for my sister. She’s a cannoli fan, just like I am, and I had told her about Maisie’s cake. She was just as crazy about it as I was!
