These Pizza Piggies Aren’t Going To Market!

I made these one day for an afternoon snack just as my husband was getting home from work. He had never had them before. I always thought of them more as a kid food, so I never really made them any other time except for when it was just me and my daughter. I thought they were good, but I was used to eating whatever she ate. That was normal for us. He popped one of these in his mouth and gave me a look of, why have you been keeping these from me? Now we have them for a family snack all the time!

Check out what they are saying about this recipe over at Small Town Woman:

“They can fit the bill for all kinds of occasions both big and small!”

It doesn’t matter if you’re having a party or feeding your kids an after school snack… these always work.

Ingredients

2 packages Pillsbury crescent rolls

1 package Eckrich little smokies

Pepperoni slices

Kraft Sliced mozzarella cheese

1 egg

1 tablespoons milk

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

Cut crescent rolls in 1/2 or 1/3’s. Add 1 small triangle of mozzarella to large end of triangle. Wrap little smokies in a piece of pepperoni and roll from widest end to least widest end.

Continue until all smokies are gone. Place seam side down on cookie sheet.

Beat egg and milk to create egg wash. Brush over the crescent part of each wrapped smokie.

Bake for 15-20 minutes or until they brown and before too much mozzarella melts out.
