This Is What Happens When Macaroni And Cheese Grows Up

Traditionally, at just about every potluck, family event, social gathering, birthday party, and barbecue, there is macaroni and cheese somewhere on the table. My family just can’t get enough of it. There is usually a chain of communication that goes along to see who’s bringing the dish. The last time, nobody had volunteered to make it, so I decided I would take the reigns. I wanted to do something a bit different than the classic version that we were all so used to eating.

I was looking around and I found this recipe for a new kind of mac and cheese on Cravings Of A Lunatic. It looked pretty fancy, but not too difficult. That’s what was right up my alley. I’m no master chef.

There was a little bit of anxiety when I set it on the table, because it was something that people hadn’t had before, and change isn’t always so well accepted. The anxiety was a wasted feeling, as everyone just loved it!
