My sweet daughter was pregnant with her first baby. I was so excited to be a grandma for the very first time! I couldn’t to give her advice on anything that she needed. I was just so excited for anything. I offered to throw her a baby shower, which I knew that she appreciated. You know, mom always does it the best! And now she will be able to say that too!
Her and I decided on beachy theme for her baby shower. Her nursery had a baby beach theme to it. Sounds kind of different but it turned out super cute! My daughter has always had a love for the beach! So, I wanted to do anything that would make her feel happy. If you have ever been pregnant then you know how difficult the first one can be with all of the new changes and such.
I made some really cute foods. I was really impressed with some of the things that I did. I made a sand castle cake myself! That actually took to times of trying to make before I got it right though! One of the super cute foods that I made were these really simple sand dollar cookies! They tasted so good and were such a major hit! My daughter loved them so much!
