French class in middle school. It was not one of my most favorite classes. In fact, it was probably my least. There was just something about the language that I didn’t pick up easily, which was unusual for me. I usually breezed through my classes as one of those kids that didn’t struggle. As long as I did the work, I was fine as far as my grade went. Except for French class. It was so hard. I got a decent grade in the end, but it wasn’t easy. The one thing that I did like and remember most about that class was when our teacher let us cook.
Our group was assigned the making of crepes. That was the first time I had ever had anything like that. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but then after a few bites, I fell in love. They were one of the best things I had ever tasted. I still make them to this day, usually using the same recipe I did in school.
That was until I found this recipe on All Recipes. It is very similar to the one I use, but the addition of this banana sauce is very different, and very delicious! I make these for guests all the time and they always rave about them like they are the best thing since sliced bread!

Quick Tip: Toss some pecan halves in with the sauce for a nutty flavor.
