We had some new neighbors move on the same street as us. In fact, they moved into the house that had been sitting empty for the entire three years that we had lived there. We had always wondered, and kind of dreaded when it was going to happen. You just never know what kind of people you are going to get. Some neighbors are ideal, while others you can live without. We wanted to start things out on the right foot though so we decided to get to know them and invited them over for dinner. I wanted to make a good first impression, so I had to find something tasty.
Recipe Lion offered me the recipe I was looking for. This angel hair pasta with chicken was just right. It didn’t require a ton of work, but it looked fancy enough for guests. We waited anxiously for them to show up that night. We were pleasantly surprised to find out that they had kids our age… win!
There aren’t any other kids on our block so it was going to be nice to have someone for our little ones to play outside with. That first meeting went really well, and we have been friends ever since…. maybe it was the pasta!
