Strawberry And Rhubarb Custard Pie Oh My!

My grandmother always made the most delicious desserts ever! I can close my eyes and remember the smell of all the delicious food that she would make that I would eat! The smells are almost the best thing ever! I mean next to actually eating the food of course! My grandmother always came up with really good things to eat. If she made an apple pie, it was a caramel apple pie.

I can recall to my favorite day, which was potluck Sunday. So, I was always very antsy during church. Well, to be fair I wasn’t the best kid during the sermons. They were such long sermons and I had a hard time sitting still! But on potluck Sundays I got to go down to the church kitchen and help my grandmother and the other ladies get everything together.

I will never forget my favorite pie that I could smell cooking in that little church kitchen. It was another one of my grandmother’s specialties. Her famous strawberry and rhubarb custard pie. This was one of the best pies that I had ever eaten! This recipe will be one of the most fantastic recipes that you will ever try! This pie will be the perfect pie for an occasion!
