Ever since the day that my husband and I started living together, I started working on perfecting my cooking skills. I’m not going to say he’s a picky eater, but he certainly knows what he likes, and he’s not afraid to tell me if something isn’t that great. I appreciate his honesty, because that’s the only way that I’m going to get better. One dish that I struggled with for years was meatloaf. I never knew that it could be hard to make something so traditional. It blew my mind.
I wanted to try something different for once, and Julie’s Eats & Treats offered just that. This bacon wrapped meatloaf looked like it would be right up the hubby’s alley. He loves bacon more than any other food, so even if the meat was bad, he would be able to enjoy the bacon at least.
This could be done in the slow cooker, so that was an instant bonus for me. When it was pulled out of the oven all crispy and delicious, I had a hard time myself waiting to get it on the plate before tasting it. I finally have found my forever meatloaf recipe. The hubby gave it his seal of approval!
