I was never much of a pork chop fan. I always went with chicken or beef when I was at the grocery store. When I got married, I followed the same routine and shopping list, just because that’s what I had always done and didn’t think anything different of it. Then, one day, when my husband was with me at the store watching me pick out all the regular food items, he asked the question.
“Why can’t we get like pork chops or something?” Oh, well, I don’t know why, was my reply and we scooped some up. I was nervous taking them home because I had no idea what we were going to do with them. Better, what I was going to do with them.
I found a recipe a lot like this one from All Recipes for sour cream pork chops and that was my first preparation of the meat. They went over fantastically. We loved them, and now I make them all the time just like this.
