I had taken chicken out of the freezer for dinner, with no plan whatsoever in mind of what to do with it. I do that a lot. Most of the time I just toss a few sprinkles of this and few of that and it turns out okay. I think it always tastes the same though. We usually just chop it up and make a Caesar salad out of it. It’s healthy enough to have a few times a week, but it can get pretty boring. My husband’s face usually drops when I tell him that’s what is for dinner.
Last time, I decided to follow this recipe that I found on All Recipe and give him a bit of shock. I even made his favorite mashed potatoes and gravy and green beans to go with it. He was so happy when I set his plate in front of him. It really was tasty.
I was so happy that the flavor was good number one, but also that I already had the butter and salt I needed to go with this without having to go to the store. It goes at the top of the list of super easy weekday dinners for sure.
