I love pizza. Oh my goodness, yes I do! I love all types of pizza. Which goes even further than the typical hot, tomato sauce pizza. I will literally eat anything with the word pizza in it. One pizza that I love is dessert pizza. My favorite kind of dessert pizza is a fruit pizza. There is so much going on this pizza and different layers of flavors that I just cannot seem to get enough and neither can anyone else around me that tries it.
One day I was talking about making a homemade pizza with a friend. I was wanting to do something different. She suggested that I do something different and not make pizza the main entree, but make it the dessert! I hadn’t even thought of doing that before. So, I tried to think of what sort of dessert pizza I could make. I didn’t really want a chocolate dessert pizza, even though I have an undying love for chocolate.
I was at the farmer’s market at the time with my friend. I was standing by the fruits and it hit me. Hello! Why not make a fruit pizza of some sort. So, I gathered up a bunch of fruits while I was at the market and went on my merry little way. When I got home I found this recipe and was instantly in love! This turned out to be exactly what I had wanted and needed! My family thought it was awesome!
