Jam Out With These Jam Thumbprints!

When it comes to holiday baking I am the Queen in the kitchen! Well, if you ask my kids they might tell you that I’m more of a mad scientist. But I like to think that I look a little nicer than a mad scientist. Anyways. I love to back around the holidays. I will make tons and tons of sweet treats. My kids love this! They love to eat all the goodies that I make. I love to make up little plates for them to take to their friends houses or to their teachers at school.

I do have to be careful with all of the goodies that bake. Well, maybe I should explain something. I need to not eat everything that I bake! I mean I’m not saying that I am the best baker in the world (pretty close). But I do have a very dangerous sweet tooth. The holidays makes my heart happy, but my waist line a little sad! Ah, well I try, but eventually I give in to the holiday atmosphere and dig into the treats!

I love to bake all types of things, but I recently started baking jam thumbprints. I don’t know why I had never thought of it before. I had eaten them plenty of times I can assure you that. But when I made them for the first time it was so cute. My littlest daughter wanted to help. She was the thumbprint. It was so sweet to see her using her tiny little thumb to make room for the jam. She really enjoyed making these and eating them even more!
