I love a good, warm, hearty meal! So, does my family. I try not to make the same thing over and over again, but I do love to throw a twist into a classic meal. This time I picked pot roast. I usually cook pot roast the typical way and thought that I could switch it up and I did just that. I found this wonderful recipe to make an Italian style pot roast. As soon as I read the ingredients I was hooked!
It was such a lovely meal too. Picture this: A chilly evening in December. We had Christmas lights up, the tree, and other decorations too. The hallmark channel was playing some sort of silly Christmas movie. The family and I had just gotten in the door and wanted to have some nice and warm to eat. Well, I was armed and prepared! I had my Italian pot roast cooking. My kids could smell the pot roast as soon as they walked into the house!
When I served them this pot roast they were in love. It was the perfect meal on that chilly day. Now forward a few months later. I made this delicious pot roast the other night and my son said mom this is the perfect pot roast to have in the Spring. Mission accomplished! This pot roast is delicious no matter what the season is. This is a new style of pot roast that you need to try if you have not already. And if you already have, cook it again!
