Sometimes when I start to get hungry, all I want is some macaroni and cheese. It must be the child coming out in me, but it makes me so happy to fill up my bowl with the ooey gooey deliciousness that I remember so well from my childhood. Now that I have a bit of experience in the kitchen though, I try to make my dish a little bit better than the stuff you get out of a box. There have been plenty of macaroni and cheese recipes that have gone through my kitchen, but this one is by far the best.
I found this on Living Healthy In Seattle, and at first, I was a little unsure about it. I mean, who wants to eat healthy macaroni and cheese? Not this girl. I want all the fat, butter, and cheese I can get. If I’m going to do it, I want to do it right. Much to my surprise, this wasn’t the low-fat version I was expecting.
It had all the ingredients I was hoping for in my bowl, just like those foods I remember back from when I was younger. Everyone at my table enjoyed this as much as I did!
