I love sitting outside on my back porch or in the garden during the spring and summer months. I don’t get a lot of warm months where I live and I take full advantage of that when the time and weather comes! I have a lovely porch swing that I really sitting on, reading a book, and having a yummy snack with a cup of coffee or a cold beverage. It’s a really nice time for me to reflect and enjoy the day an my yard!
When I get the opportunity to sit outside I really like to have a nice slice of something. I love making desserts that make me feel like summer is here. Some of the flavors that come to my mind is cherry, lemonade, and strawberries. I usually make those three flavors in different desserts during these wonderful weathered months. This time I decided to start off with strawberries.
I found this awesome recipe that incorporates strawberries and pretzels together. Who doesn’t love a little sweet and salty! I know that I really do. This recipe is so delicious. The recipe calls for frozen strawberries, but I use my own that I pick from the strawberry patch not to far from my home. Big juicy fresh strawberries just taste the best when they are in season!
