One Spring our weather was just crazy with rain. I had never seen so much rain before in my entire life! It was nonstop for almost 2 weeks straight. It was nice for our plants to get the rain, but it was very restricting for us to do anything. My family and I were stuck inside for the majority of those rainy days. We sure did miss the sunshine and going outside!
It’s that kind of weather that can make you feel a little blue. I could see that the kids were restless and were starting to fight with each other. My husband was seeming to be a little irritated and I was just plain bored! We had played every game you can think of. I had organized tons of things in my house. My house had never been this organized before!
So, I was thinking how could I lift everyone’s spirits on this dreary Sunday evening.
I began thinking and decided to make a delicious snack that would put a smile on everyone’s face. I then found this recipe. Oh my goodness! Caramel, peanut butter, chocolate, and toffee cookie bars! Say what!? I made these bars and put on a good movie and everyone was in heaven! The kids loved these bars! They are now a family movie night treat!
