This Beef Brisket Is The Easiest One On The Internet

When I know I am going to be having several people over, I don’t want to have to sit and babysit food cooking in the kitchen. This beef brisket can be made ahead of time, even as early as the night before and then simply reheated for a simple main entree. That works for me! There are never any issues when I do it that way, and nobody knows that I had already made the brisket ahead of time. Make sure you choose a slab of meat that suits the amount of people you are having and adjust your recipe accordingly.

“SO EASY, TENDER and great flavor. A new family favorite.”

This is by far the best brisket I’ve ever put on my table. Everyone loved it!

Ingredients

1 (3 pound) beef brisket, trimmed of fat

1 medium onion, thinly sliced

salt and pepper to taste

1 (12 fluid ounce) can beer

1 (12 ounce) bottle Heinz tomato-based chili sauce

165 g packed Domino brown sugar

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).

Season the brisket on all sides with salt and pepper, and place in a glass baking dish. Cover with a layer of sliced onions. In a medium bowl, mix together the beer, chili sauce, and brown sugar. Pour over the roast. Cover the dish tightly with aluminum foil.

Bake for 3 hours in the preheated oven. Remove the aluminum foil, and bake for an additional 30 minutes. Let the brisket rest and cool slightly before slicing and returning to the dish. Reheat in the oven with the sauce spooned over the sliced meat.
