My kids don’t eat anything I try and feed them. I have exhausted myself trying to find different things that they like, but they always stick with the same foods. Most days, I just give them what I know they like because it makes it easier on everyone involved. There is nothing worse than a disagreement at the table at the end of a long day because someone won’t eat what’s on their plate. One thing that I have discovered that they will eat any day of the week though is stuffing. They love it.
So, when I found this recipe on Spend With Pennies, that’s also loaded with healthy veggies, I decided I was going to see if I could fake them out. After all, parents do that all the time right? You have to try and stay one step ahead of those crafty little ones.
They couldn’t stop eating these! Success. I felt like I had really accomplished something at that dinner which made for a very pleasant evening for everyone!

Quick Tip: Broccoli and cheddar or mushroom and Swiss would work fantastically in here as well.
