I was hosting an event at my house for all the parents of the baseball team. We wanted to get together to go over the schedules, the fundraising, and everything else that had to be done to ensure that the kids would have a fun and successful season. I did a potluck event, just so that I wasn’t stuck doing all the work. I thought that was fair. I was already going to be doing all the setup and cleanup. That’s quite the role to take on when you have 10 families coming to eat at your house.
I had a main entree of meatballs, just because that’s something that kids and adults can both enjoy. Then I did a nice big crock pot of these cheesy potatoes that I found on Julie’s Eats & Treats, because let’s face it, who doesn’t like cheese and potatoes? The meeting went over really well, and so did the potatoes.
The cleanup was minimal because I had used crocks for everything. A few of the moms stuck around to make sure that I didn’t need any help, too, so that was really nice.

Quick Tip: Cream of mushroom soup can also be used instead of the chicken.
