I was getting really excited to have my niece and nephew come and stay with me for the week. Part of having them over includes lots of running around, fun, and play, play, play! They sure do have a lot of energy, and I just love them to pieces. Part of all that energy means working up quite the appetite. For the time that they are around, I feel like I am constantly finding something for them to eat. This time, I was going to plan out all of our meals so that there was no guess work.
For breakfast on one of the days, I was going to make some taquitos. I knew that they liked breakfast burritos, but I saw a recipe on Julie’s Eats & Treats that I wanted to try. I didn’t have anyone else to share the recipe with, so it felt like the perfect time. They loved them! We ate all 8 between the 3 of us!
They asked me to make them again on another morning that they were with me, so I did. Part of my role of being the Aunt means giving them whatever they want, right?
