When summer hits in our town, I think everyone in the neighborhood pulls their grills out. After being cooped up in the house all winter long, nobody wants to sit inside any longer than what they have to. Cooking on the grill is a great way to achieve one of your daily tasks but without standing in the kitchen. I have always loved the grill. I used to watch my dad whip up some pretty amazing foods on the charcoal one we had in our backyard. It always seemed really special to me.
Traditionally, I usually stick with a meat main entree, some sort of a potato, and then a vegetable side. Corn on the cob or green beans are usually my trusty ol’ standbys, but sometimes I am in the mood for something a little different. This recipe from All Recipes offered me just that.
We had some friends over for a little BB & Q recently and this was the star of the evening. We couldn’t stop talking about how good it was. The fresh asparagus would have probably been pretty tasty all on it’s own, but this was incredible!
