There isn’t anything in life quite like a hungry child. After having raised three of them, I can tell you that nothing in life will ever be as urgent as one of your kids that is.. “STARVING!” Okay, I’m not that naive. I know that my kids were never actually starving, but sometimes the way that they acted, you would think that their arms and legs were falling off. Over the years, I became an expert at making meals in less than five minutes.
Peanut butter and jelly, grilled cheese, canned ravioli, you know… the good stuff. Another dish that I mastered was mac and cheese. Not the boxed kind either. A nice homemade version. It was just like this one from Spend with Pennies.
Now I know what you’re saying… homemade mac and cheese in five minutes? Nope. Took six. It was the only way I could keep the kids quiet and satisfied. By feeding them fast. This was always a favorite at our house… maybe it can be at yours now too.
