Smothered Cheeseburger Ravioli Burger

When I was pregnant for my second child, there were two things that I simply could not get enough of. No, it wasn’t pickles and ice cream or bananas and chocolate sauce, it was ravioli and hamburgers. I don’t know what it was, but I ate these two foods almost every single day. Ravioli, just from a can was fine, for lunch (smothered in cheese), and hamburgers for diner. That was the routine I followed for probably about four or five months of my pregnancy.

So, now that my daughter is two, I can see why. She could eat those two foods every day too if I let her! I came across this recipe for ravioli stuffed burgers on Cravings Of A Lunatic and thought, if only I had seen this a couple years ago!

I didn’t wait even a day to make them. We had them that very night for dinner. The taste was incredible. Even my husband, who doesn’t understand ravioli’s appeal so much, really enjoyed these. I can see these going back on the table again really soon.

Quick Tip: Put the ravioli in the hot sauce for a few minutes after cooking so that they don’t slip off the burgers.
