This Ain’t Your Grandma’s Goulash!

My Grandma was pretty much a magician in the kitchen. She could always whip up something. Even if we had absolutely nothing in the cupboards, if she was watching us for the night while my parents worked, she could find something. Now, most kids don’t really like the taste of goulash. I, on the other hand, at that point, just loved it. Whenever she would come over, I would always request that she would make hers. It was just so darn good, I didn’t want to miss out!

So, when I found this recipe on Cravings Of A Lunatic that looked just like the one that she used to make, I couldn’t help but print out the recipe and try it at home. It was just as tasty as the one that I had so many years before.

I made sure to have my kids try some too. At first they weren’t too keen on the idea, but after trying a bit, they didn’t whine once. They actually sat and fully finished their bowls before asking to be excused. That means this is going to be an important recipe to hold on to.

Quick Tip: You can leave out the cheese if you want… I wouldn’t recommend it though!
