When I was in college I was on a very limited budget. The first couple of years I ate a lot of the peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and ramen noodles! As you can imagine most college kids aren’t looking to make delicious foods that take tons of time to make. The first couple of years went by and one day I was just sick and tired of eating pizza. It was mostly cold and old pizza at that! I would have to say that was a favorite, but not by choice!
The last couple of years of school I started to branch out a bit. I had a little bit more time and got a part time job. So, now I could afford to bump up my food budget a little but. I also moved into an apartment with a couple of my girlfriends. We would rotate each night on who would cook dinner. I liked it when some cooked more than others! I like to think that I was one of the favorites! But who knows.
One thing that I did know was that I was the queen of casserole! We had eaten a lot of hot dogs before and I loved chili cheese dogs. One day I was searching for recipes and I found the perfect casserole of myself and my roommates., chill cheese dog casserole! We loved this casserole and probably made it a million times! It was so easy to make too, which was a good things for us!
