We were doing a fundraiser for another one of the sports that my kids were playing. I honestly can’t even tell you which one at this point. They always have so much going on, I feel like a robot just following directions of the other parents most of the time. They wanted to hold a potluck meal where people could come in and pay a flat fee to eat and then we would do a silent auction and different raffles. Sounds good to me. I had to make something though.
I had seen a recipe for stove top macaroni and beef with cheese on The Seasoned Mom and remembered it sounded like it was cheap to make and super simple. That’s what I took.
I made a great big pot of it, and surprisingly, it was the first crock to empty out. I didn’t think people were going to take to it that well, but they really enjoyed it. I suggested to put the recipe in the raffle so that people could win it.
They sold all kinds of tickets when people found that out, and the kids got all the sporting equipment they needed to have a winning season.
