Grandma’s Infamous Old-Fashioned Goulash

My family and I decided that we were going to go on a road trip over Spring break. No, we weren’t going somewhere crazy fun like a theme park or beach front resort. We were going to head somewhere that was pretty exciting, at least for me anyways. My husband was going to drive us 10 hours to go back to my hometown. See, when we got married, he was promoted in his job.

That promotion required a move. A far, far away move. I knew we had to do it for our family to grow and succeed, but I didn’t want to. When I called my parents and told them we were coming home for a week, they were over-the-moon excited.

One day while we were visiting, we went to see my grandma. Like clockwork, she had her infamous goulash going on the stove. We sat down to visit and I ate three bowls!

It was by far the best trip home that I had been able to enjoy in years. I can’t wait to go back!
