When my sister got married, she was the first out of all of the siblings, so it was a bit of a learning experience for everyone. There were a lot of things that she wanted to do herself, like party favor boxes, invitations, and decorations. She had to pool all of our man power together in order to get it completed, but between family and the wedding party, there was a pretty decent sized group of us.
But, whenever we all got together to work on “wedding stuff” it seemed like it was in the evenings, after everyone got out of work. Many times, we worked right through dinner without even stopping to eat.
When we were going to be working at my house, I was making sure that didn’t happen. I took this recipe that I had for chicken broccoli alfredo, which was a lot like the recipe from Group Recipes, and made a big pan of it for everyone.
I think it helped us power through and get even more done than what we would have normally. And it was really yummy, so that helped too!
