Whenever my kids come home for the holiday, it’s quite the event. See my kids aren’t kids anymore, they are fully grown adults, with families of their own. I have two kids, they each got married and had two kids, so when they come home, that’s eight additional people in our house…and I love it! There is nothing better than having your grand babies running around your house.
When they are spending the night, I like to greet them with a nice breakfast in the morning, just to make everyone comfortable.
Breakfast is also the most important meal of the day, and I’m still the mom so it’s my job. Breakfast casserole is one of my favorite things to make, so when I found this recipe on Spend with Pennies, I knew it was going to be a crowd pleaser.
We ate this whole pan so I had nothing left to clean up at the end of the meal. That was a great start to an amazing weekend with the family.
