Just Wait For The Surprise Inside These Fudge Brownies

My husband is pickier of an eater than my pickiest little kid. He knows the few dishes that he likes, and he sticks with them. It’s okay most of time, it does get kind of boring though. As far as desserts go, he doesn’t have much of a sweet tooth. In fact, he hardly ever eats cookies, pies, cakes, anything like that. There is one thing that I know he loves though, and that’s he combination of peanut butter and chocolate.

Think Reese’s peanut butter cups. We can’t keep enough of those in the house to satisfy everyone. So, when I found this recipe on Spend with Pennies for peanut butter fudge brownies, I couldn’t wait to make them for him.

It just so happened that his birthday was right around the corner, so that was the perfect reason to bust these out. Instead of making a cake, I whipped up a pan of these and stuck a few candles in it for his special day.

He really appreciated them, and so did the rest of the family!
