Tis the season for baking up yummy goodies such as cakes, cookies, and pies.
Today’s recipe is for a cool and crisp chocolate peppermint patty cake. Now, this cake is perfect for Christmas because of its peppermint essence. I don’t know, I could eat this cake on a hot summer day, too just to cool off. Anyway, this recipe is very easy to follow and you’ll be amazed by the results.
One thing that I like to do when making this cake is to serve it with peppermint stick ice cream or the seasonal favorite “Candy Cane.” It just gives the cool factor of the cake and added push. My whole family loves this cake and my littlest cake eater loves to pull off the peppermint patties from everyone’s slices and hoard them to eat later. Kid is gonna have to wrestle me for mine 🙂
