You barely have to lift a finger to make this!
Don’t you just love the smell of cooking food in the air? Whenever I smell something from my neighbor’s house or even from my very own kitchen, I can’t help but feel relaxed. The smell of food, most especially those fragrant food, often relaxes my brain. I think it’s because of the taste of comfort- who wouldn’t enjoy eating something that’s cooked straight from someone else’s house? Home cooked meals provide that type of feeling that no other food can ever give you.
Speaking of home cooked meals, I recently cooked this beef recipe that my husband instantly liked. He hovered around the kitchen while I make it. I could see the excitement and the impatience on his face- he really did want to eat.
I couldn’t blame him. The smell alone of this sesame chicken recipe was enough to wrap you around its fingers. When you taste it, your tongue will be attacked by an onslaught of flavors and you will not have a chance.
When my family first tasted it, I was a bit scared that they wouldn’t like it. But my kids simply finished their meals without delay. And my husband literally gave me thumbs up.
I had to adjust the seasonings a bit because my kids couldn’t take even the slightest spiciness. But I did promise my husband I will make him his favorite spicy version the next time.
