Have Fun In The Sun With This Simple Cake

Berry desserts are perfect for spring and summer. There are a few berries in season right now, and they make for a perfect dessert. However, you don’t really have to search long and hard for those that are not available; you can just use those that are. Usually, I use anything that I have at home. I usually have blueberries, strawberries, and peaches. They are the ones I use the most. And since my twins love to devour berries, I always have to have a stock of them at home.

A few days ago, I found a recipe for a summer cake. But since I know I can turn it into a Spring cake, I decided to try it. This cake is so simple you wouldn’t have a hard time making it for your family.

I used the berries I have at home and added nuts and chocolate chips. You know, this is a pretty versatile recipe and you can use any combination of ingredients you want. You can even substitute a few ingredients you didn’t have.

My husband was ecstatic when he saw the cake on the table after dinner. He knew it was not unusual for me to make berry cakes all year. One slice and the cake has him wrapped around the palm of its sweet hand.
