What is your favorite beef recipe? Mine has always been beef stew and beef brisket. The comfort these meals bring me is incomparable. I miss my old home sometimes (my childhood home); and whenever I can, I try to cook things that will allow me to relive even just the feeling of home. Because of course, I have my own home with my family now. But sometimes, I still can’t help but feel melancholic whenever I think about my hometown.
My husband feels the same towards his. Whenever we find ourselves reminiscing, we just do what we do best to remedy the feeling- cook amazing recipes that remind us of home. Because let’s face it; food makes everything feel better in an instant.
This beef brisket recipe from The Kitchn reminds me of my hometown. Because my Mom used to cook beef this way just for us like all the time. She always makes the most tender and most moist beef meat, that’s why we always find ourselves asking for more.
My family loves this recipe a lot. I usually serve this over rice or over pasta- it depends on you. But I assure you that no matter how you serve this, you will still love this.
