Is This Crockpot Chicken And Gravy Worth The Wait? Absolutely!

What is your most favorite classic crockpot recipe? I have a feeling that it has something to do with chicken… and then gravy… and then easy recipe. Am I right or am I right? I think most of us love our slow cooker chicken recipes. They’re the answer to life’s hectic schedule actually. The best thing that I love most when my chicken is cooked in a slow cooker- they taste so tender and so moist! Slow cooker might not be the best for breaded meat, but for other recipes- definitely, yes!

I still remember how my Grandma used to tenderize meat. She didn’t use her pressure cooker, not once. She simply boiled them. I wasn’t sure how she managed to make them that tender and not soggy, but she was able to.

My Mom said that her own mother probably had magic powers that she forgot to share with them. She always admits that my Grandma’s recipes are undefeatable. They try, all of them, but none is able to make the same dishes.

One of Grandma’s most famous recipe was her chicken and gravy. She made the most tender chicken and the creamiest and most savory gravy. Served with vegetables, it was just so divine!

This chicken and gravy recipe from Cooking With Sugar reminds me of those days with my Grandma. She never did like cooking with less than a hundred percent effort on her part.
