There is no cake in this world that my family will not like. We are the types of people who will eat anything that’s on the table; and we’s also the types of people who will appreciate anything good. Cakes belong to that category-any type of cake. Whether it’s a simple butter cake or a more elaborate red velvet cake, my family will eat it and they will appreciate it. As long as it tastes fine, we are sure to finish our servings.
Spice cakes are strong-flavored cakes that not all favor. There is that flavor that will make you feel torn- you will either like it or hate it. While I tolerate spice cakes, I don’t make a habit of baking them.
My family doesn’t complain; but yes, they will probably eat it when I make it. I just need to have a good frosting to go with it and everything will be fine. However, if you are fans of spice cakes, then this recipe might just be for you to try.
It’s called sweet potato spice cake; and I got this recipe from Completely Delicious. I had to make this for a friend for her birthday, and spice cakes are her favorite. She really loved this cake and decided to set it aside for her to devour the next day.
Surprisingly, when I was tasting it, I loved it too. So if you want to try this recipe, please go ahead and do it. You’ll probably even surprise yourself.
