My husband and his brothers, along with my own brother get on really well ever since. But they are totally inseparable when it comes to sports. They will bond over any type of sport, and once they do, they have their own little world. Whether it’s basketball, football, or baseball season, they will always gather around and watch the games together. Sometimes, it will be on my brother’s house. And sometimes, it will be on our house. Every time that happens, our house is always full of extra laughter and life.
Since these young men are totally ravenous all the time, my sister-in-law and I always make them snacks while they’re watching. That’s also one way of ensuring that the house will be brought back to its original state once the game finishes. Since we cooked the food, they would clean up after themselves.
Pretty wise for the wives, right? But we always make sure that we make them the best snack so that they can enjoy both the watching and the eating part. Sometimes, we serve nibbles like chicken nuggets or potato nuggets.
This time, we thought of making them sandwiches. We found this slow cooker Rotel dip chicken sandwich recipe and we thought it will be perfect. It was done right in time for the game on television.
The men loved it! They devoured the sandwiches as if they haven’t eaten for a long time. My sister-in-law and I were pretty sure they paid more attention to the sandwiches!
