When you visit our house during a weekend, you will only find us in two areas- at the back porch or in the living room. My husband loves to play with the kids at the back garden if it’s a good day while I am always reading a book watching over them. Sometimes, we prefer indoors and we just do quiet activities like art and toys while snacking on something sweet and handy like cookies.
Cookies are a favorite in the house. It doesn’t matter what type of cookies it will be; we just love nibbling on something sweet whenever we’re relaxing together. I love to serve cookies with warm milk for my kids and freshly brewed coffee for me and my husband.
Sometimes we eat cookies with ice cream, but that’s only if I am a bit generous. I never liked ruining my boys’ appetites for supper. So if I serve ice cream for them, I make sure it was only a tiny scoop.
This recipe from Delish is a bit different though. It combines two classic desserts in one sweet treat. It’s sinful, decadent, and oh so very rich, if you ask me!
