This crockpot chicken cooked in gravy is a classic dish that everyone loves. There are nights when we all want a fancy meal. Or a rich meal that will have us burping numerous times by the end of supper. Most of the time, this type of meal requires an extra sweet dessert that will counter the savory taste of the meal. However, there are also those nights when we just want a comforting meal that we can enjoy with our family. A comforting meal that tastes delicious, but at the same time won’t take all of your attention away because of its strong flavor. This crockpot chicken cooked in gravy is one of those classic comforting meals that never fail to satisfy our hungry mouths and never fail to satisfy our hearts.
This crockpot chicken and gravy by Moms With Crockpots immediately captured my family’s hearts. All the while I thought it would be just a “so-so” dish, something that they will eat because it doesn’t taste bad, but it’s also not going to be a favorite because it’s not that good. But it’s that good so the family loved it! My twins’ plates were almost empty by the end of supper. And my husband just wanted seconds. That’s my clue actually. My husband eats a lot, so if he asks for more, it means he loves it. If he doesn’t, it means he’s just tolerating it. He asked for a third serving actually, but I told him there should be room for dessert!
