One of the things I love to cook whenever I am too busy is a slow cooker beef recipe. This beef and mushroom pot roast is one of those that became my instant favorite as well as my family’s. There are always times when I can’t really make anything special in such a short time, so relying on my slow cooker at home is always a good idea. Slow cookers do everything for you! You just literally dump all the ingredients in the slow cooker pot, stir it a little, and then cover it. Then it will just do the cooking all by itself. And what’s great is, the end result is always satisfying to anyone who will eat it.
This slow cooker beef and mushroom pot roast makes my family happy every time I make it for supper. My sons love the sauce so much that they usually eat more of the sauce than the beef. And my husband always has second servings whenever this is on the menu. My husband deserves a satisfying meal after a hard day’s work and other than his favorite soups, I always make sure he gets to eat a heavy dinner to replenish the energy he has used throughout his day. My husband is truly a workaholic and he needs twice the energy that I need for the day! This recipe will give him that and at the same time will satisfy his stomach.
