There are times when you don’t know what to prepare anymore. It’s just that even though you love your family and you know what they want to eat, there are still those times when you just stare at the cupboards and can’t think of anything that you will make. It happened to me just a few days ago. It was a weekend and my husband was taking his breakfast on the kitchen counter while doing a bit of work. While he’s not required to go to the office during weekends, he still needed to monitor their websites. He caught me staring at the cupboard. When I told him my problem, he just nodded with sympathy. He knew my predicament.
I just decided to make a simple meat dish for my sons. They will eat anything with meat anyway. I made them baked pork chops that I knew they wouldn’t be able to say no to. However, when it came to the husband and me, I wanted to try something different. This recipe was recommended to me by a friend. I ifnally got to try it during that night. It turned out great and it also filled the kitchen with that wonderful smell that made the twins wanted to taste it. However, this dish is for the adults only. This is definitely not for the kids!

Quick Tip: You may substitute brandy for whiskey.
This is actually kid friendly because the alcohol is evaporated away in the cooking. I wouldn’t say it is for adults only.
I agree. I wouldn’t be concerned about the alcohol at all.
