If You Are An On-The-Go Breakfast Person, These Are For You! – Honey Peanut Butter Oat Squares

I love a good breakfast bar.  Yep, I am a huge breakfast person, and love my eggs and bacon or pancakes and Belgian waffles, but I do not get the chance as often as I would like to make those.  Whether it is because of an appointment, an early morning piano lesson, or just an errand to run, some mornings feel like they fly by and I do not have a chance to make myself a hearty breakfast. The problem is, I get cranky when I go without food.  Yep, I am totally THAT person.  It is sad, but true.  My husband knows to stay away from me (or feed me!) if I have not had my breakfast yet.

Anyway, since I truly do not always get all the time in the world to make some hearty and delicious breakfasts, I tend to rely on breakfast granola bars.  The only problem is: I got bored of them.  Yep, I tried everything from Nature Valley to Special K to anything Kellogg’s…but I am bored.  They are all too similar for me.  That is when it occurred to me that I can come up with my own recipe and alter it to fit my cravings every single morning!
