My family is crazy about pizza. Ever since my husband and I gave our kids their very first bite, they were thrilled with it. They loved the taste, the bread, the red sauce, and cheese.
Everything about it was great to them. Now the best part about pizza, at least to them, is that they can eat it with their hands. But now I had a problem in my hands: my kids did not know how to use a fork and knife, yet the only thing they would eat was pizza.
It was a tough few weeks trying to convince them to cut up their pizza and eat it with a fork. But then I realized I could probably make them a pizza flavor dish that required them to use their silverware.Well, after a bit of thinking, I realized I can probably make a pizza casserole.
However, I was unsure of how to make the crust because I really did not think pizza dough would cook well inside a casserole dish. I was right and it certainly did not go well (I know from experience), so instead I decided to use up a bag of tater tots that I had in my freezer. Well, my friends, let me tell you… it was spectacular!
