Our friend over at Tasty Kitchen has this to say about this recipe:
“This Grilled Maple Salmon is absolutely divine!”
It’s something that you wouldn’t expect from such a simple meal, but it does taste divine! Salmon is the type of fish that will taste delicious with anything, but this recipe makes it more delicious which is somewhat surprising because it’s truly a simple salmon recipe. I am not complaining, though!
Ingredients
4 whole Salmon Fillets (4 Oz Each)
⅓ cups Great Value Maple Syrup
¼ cups Kikkoman Soy Sauce
⅓ cups Tropicana Orange Juice
½ teaspoons McCormick Ground Ginger Powder
¼ teaspoons McCormick Ground Cayenne Red Pepper
½ teaspoons McCormick Garlic Powder
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Instructions
In a bowl whisk the maple syrup, soy sauce, orange juice, ginger, cayenne, and garlic powder. Then pour the marinade into a baking dish, place salmon in the marinade, and refrigerate covered for 20-30 minutes.
Brush a grill pan with olive oil and heat over medium high heat. Season salmon fillets with a pinch of salt (not too much since you’re using soy in the marinade) and pepper, then grill 4 minutes per side.
In a saucepan, bring the leftover marinade to a boil, then turn heat down to low. While salmon is cooking baste with the leftover marinade.
