I love hot chocolate. I mean, I really love it. Every single time I go to Starbucks, I order a tall hot chocolate with extra whipped cream. Am I the only one that thinks the extra whipped cream makes the hot chocolate extra creamy and delicious? I mean, it is just wonderful. Every time we go out to breakfast, I also order a hot chocolate. I remember the best hot chocolate I ever had was in Orlando at a restaurant named Keke’s. Want to know why? There was more whipped cream than hot chocolate in that cup, it was piled high, AND there were free refills. I mean, have you ever heard of free refills for hot chocolate? I definitely have not.
Anyway, I am always on the lookout for a good recipe to make at home, and this one got my attention! Made in the slow cooker, with gobs of Nutella, this has got to be the easiest and definitely the tastiest hot chocolate I have tried in a really long time. The best part about making it at home is that I get to control the whipped cream so I always lather on more with every sip. Yum, yum.
