My husband and I love to have people over for dinner. After we got married, we decided we did not want to become hermit crabs and keep to ourselves forever. We wanted to have friends and get together with people and learn from others who were steps ahead of us in life and help those who were a little behind us. Everyone has something to give and to receive so we knew we wanted to give our home as a comforting place to enjoy quality time with others.
Now as amazing as it always is, I constantly have a difficult time deciding what to make for dinner and dessert when people are coming over. I need to take allergies into consideration, if they have kids, any food preferences. It can be a little overwhelming, but I have learned to resort to something simple, that does not take a lot of prep time and does not take a lot of clean up time so I can spend the majority of my time with my guests. In order to do that, I try to find desserts that are made quickly with few ingredients like this easy to make Nutella Mousse.
