There’s just something about potluck meals and church gatherings that is comforting.
I don’t know if it is the fellowship amongst like-minded folks or the homemade food that I enjoy more but I do know one thing and that is potluck dinners are something to be cherished. Whenever I attend a church potluck I always bring a casserole dish.
Sometimes, I’ll venture out of my comfort zone and show up with a dessert in hand but usually, it’s some form of a casserole. I’m always looking for new recipes to bring to these friendly gatherings and when I came across this poppy seed chicken casserole I Knew I had found the golden ticket.I have brought pasta, beef, and other forms of chicken casseroles to potluck suppers plenty of times but never have I ever bought a poppy seed chicken casserole that’s topped with buttery Ritz crackers before.
